Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Calvary's Rock Church Fellowship Ministry exists...
To honor and glorify God by obeying Jesus' command to make disciples of all people groups. We accomplish this through our Mission and Core Values.
Our Vision and Mission
To reach people who’ve walked away from God; due to hurt, abuse, rejection, disappointment, or failure. Our goal is to be an anointed instrument, in the hands of God, used to minister salvation, the Holy Ghost, spiritual freedom, healing, and deliverance to those who will receive him and it.
To preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ under the anointing of God. To minister reconciliation and the new birth to all mankind. To spread the Gospel so that it impacts families and communities. To minister to the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of the community, including Ft. Huachuca and the surrounding areas of Sierra Vista. To develop and implement spiritual programs beneficial to the financial, emotional, and spiritual growth of the individual, family, church, and community.
Our Core Values
CALVARY'S ROCK CHURCH STATEMENT OF FAITH
WE BELIEVE there is one God, infinitely perfect and eternally existent in the persons of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE in the eternal deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His appearance on earth through virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His death to take away the sins of the world and restore right relationship with God, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return to earth in power and glory.
WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live life as a witness, that you can live a godly life.
WE BELIEVE in the fullness of the Holy Spirit as the empowerment of the Christian for witness and service.
WE BELIEVE all the gifts of the Holy Spirit-inspired, authoritative Word of God and that it is eternally reliable.
WE BELIEVE salvation is by grace, through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that repentance, faith in Jesus Christ, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit are necessary for salvation.
WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved to eternal life and those who are lost to eternal damnation.
WE BELIEVE in one universal Church that is the Body of Christ. Christ is the head and that all who are born again are its members.
WE BELIEVE in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE the Great Commission is for us today and that we are to be a church open to all people groups. We will also actively pursue discipleship ministry to help believers grow in their knowledge and devotion to Christ.
WE BELIEVE in baptizing believers by immersion, in water, in obedience to the command of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE in the importance of the Lord's Supper and emphasize that all believers should partake regularly with others remembering the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord, celebrating the new covenant with God and with one another, anticipating His glorious return.
WE BELIEVE in the ministry and presence of angels, the reality of the devil and demonic beings and the legitmacy and necessity for spiritual warfare over nations, cities, families, and individuals.
WE BELIEVE in the sanctity of life, celibacy for singles, sexual purity for all and the sacredness of marriage.
WE BELIEVE Jesus Christ has called both men and women to the ministry of God's word and power (Galatians 3:26-29). Though men and women have differing roles, they are to be encouraged and released in the ministry of the church, including public ministry.
WE BELIEVE when Jesus ascended He gave the gifts of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for the purpose of equipping the church and bringing the body of Christ into maturity (Ephesians 4:1-11) and that these ministry gifts continue today.
WE BELIEVE God has entrusted to His church both the message and ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5) and we must be proactive in tearing down dividing walls based on racial, socioeconomic, gender, and denominational background.

The Purpose of God
We affirm our belief in the one-eternal God, Creator and Lord of the world, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who governs all things according to the purpose of his will. He has been calling out from the world a people for himself, and sending his people back into the world to be his servants and his witnesses, for the extension of his kingdom, the building up of Christ's body, and the glory of his name. We confess with shame that we have often denied our calling and failed in our mission, by becoming conformed to the world or by withdrawing from it. Yet we rejoice that even when borne by earthen vessels the gospel is still a precious treasure. To the task of making that treasure known in the power of the Holy Spirit we desire to dedicate ourselves anew.
(Isa. 40:28; Matt. 28:19; Eph. 1:11; Acts 15:14; John 17:6, 18; Eph 4:12; 1 Cor. 5:10; Rom. 12:2; II Cor. 4:7)
The Authority and Power of the Bible
We affirm the divine inspiration, truthfulness and authority of both Old and New Testament Scriptures in their entirety as the only written word of God, without error in all that it affirms, and the only infallible rule of faith and practice. We also affirm the power of God's word to accomplish his purpose of salvation. The message of the Bible is addressed to all men and women. For God's revelation in Christ and in Scripture is unchangeable. Through it the Holy Spirit still speaks today. He illumines the minds of God's people in every culture to perceive its truth freshly through their own eyes and thus discloses to the whole Church ever more of the many-colored wisdom of God.
